Oh my goodness! These pastries are to die for! I used to go by all the time while playing Pokemon & remember the aroma would be throughout all of downtown! I was always back home by the time they actually opened though so I hadn't tried them! One dayI just happened to be up with only an hour to wait til they opened so I decided today was the day! It reminded me of 20 years ago & surprisingly their prices did too! Now, I'm hooked! If you're looking for pastries that remind you of your childhood, this is the place! I have & will definitely continue to recommend this place! You'll love it! Just try not to wait all day because they do sell out sometimes!

Wow. I can't believe that I thought gas station donuts were good donuts...except maybe at 3 am. The jelly filled donuts at Penny's are so packed with jelly that I had to be especially careful eating them. They sell mini cakes (serves 1-2 people) so if you want good, homemade cake--but don't want to eat a whole cake--here is a solution. Mass-produced pastries taste sugary without any actual flavor. When you order something here, it has flavor. Rich chocolate, vivid berries, real custard and cream. If you're going to eat something bad for you, make it count.
