We can not give enough praise to Hocking Hills Animal Clinc. If we could give them more than five stars, it would be done! Our Bichon, Chewy, has been seriously ill. This amazing office was able to see our little boy on a same day appointment three days in a row. On the fourth day they were able to have a referral ready within 15 minutes for us to rush him to OSU Veterinary Hospital. Chewy needed an ultrasound and needed it now! While at OSU we were able to phone and speak directly to Dr. Moore, on multiple occasions and discuss Chewy’s progress and diagnosis. Chewy had a blockage in his intestine and needed emergency surgery. To have the surgery at OSU it would cost $4,000. Dr. Moore took the time to speak with the OSU physician and she agreed to conduct Chewy’s surgery to save us money. By the time we traveled back to Logan, and Dr. Moore finished seeing her other scheduled patients, Chewy’s surgery had to be done after hours. Dr. Moore’s staff (Stacy and Christy) volunteered their own time to assist Dr. Moore with the surgery. The dedication, compassion and skill of the staff an excellent Veterinarian it doesn’t get any better.
