The service department at Tansky is always up front with me, and stands behind their work. They have taken the time to explain issues with my vehicle to me, and worked with me to find the lowest cost solution. I have had issue with their service only one time in the past 2 years, and without having to mention compensation they handed over a loaner and completed repairs free of charge.
This was a costly mistake that I will never make again. I personally will not deal with them again !
Sucks. They don't know their days of the week to get my oil change scheduled correctly. I said Thursday not Wednesday. They couldn't do it because they were busy, this I understand, but had it been wrote down correctly...
They don't seem to have much motivation.
Then i took the car to another ford dealership and they said the transmission was deemed "unsafe" to drive, and gave me a loaner car and replaced the clutch in my transmission.
I bought a Ford Focus from them in 2015.
I took my car to Tansky's to be serviced. I was told my transmission was a manual transmission which was made into an automatic transmission and the jerking or shuttering was something Ford was working on. As for the trunk, they said they " could not duplicate"
" cannot duplicate"
Also since that time my car had to be taken in yet again for transmission issues and was deemed " unsafe to drive"
Eventually I pleaded with the manager for help and he simply said " cannot duplicate"
I ended up taking my car to another dealership. They found that the wiring eas faulty and " could duplicate it" and ran new wiring from the trunk to the dash and fixed it.
Took my 2005 Mustang down here to get a brake job done. Needless to say my car has a lot of aftermarket parts on it including a Vortech supercharger. The idiot doing the work on my car thought it would be fun to drive it like it was a race car. Sitting there reving it up and hitting the rev limiter. I was not happy with this kind of behavior I don't run my car like that neither should they. Be warned if you have a fast car or a hopped up car don't take it here it will be driven like it's theirs not yours.
After a while i was fed up. My car was not secure because the trunk kept comming open and the transmission was getting worse. Every time I took my car to Tanskys I was told
The car I bouggt was on the showroom floor. It looked like a nice car. Shortly after purchasing the Ford Focus I began having problems with my transmission shuttering and my trunk kept popping open 3 or 4 times a day while I was driving.
I mentioned that I would have to seek my legal right to a lawer and I was advised by the manager that thier business with me was over. ( just because I mentioned the word lawyer)
It's not too often you get a mechanic that you can trust, and customer service that makes you feel good about doing business with them.
So i tried to work this out, i asked for help and was not given help. Tanskys sold me a lemon.
