My children loved it went for a field trip
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the collection on display at the museum. They have a fantastic collection of military artifacts with items ranging from the Civil War to the Gulf War. Well worth a visit!
My girlfriend and I ended up here while searching for the downtown historical district I saw on a map and I'm so happy we got lost because this hidden gem is beyond interesting. There are countless historical photos and documents from the area and plenty of literature to read. There is a completely furnished classroom that made me feel like I was in a one-room school house during the early 20th century. Some guy donated a Kamikaze flag from World War II, complete with Japanese characters written all over it. The staff was also wonderful and very knowledgeable. Visit this place.
